How do you pray?

How do we pray…

Do we come before him, blabbering word and sentences filled with big words and heavy philosophy?

Mathew 6:7 “And when you pray, do not keep blabbering like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.”

8 “Do not be like them because your Father knows you need before you ask him.”

9-13

“This then is how you should pray,

Our father in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done

On earth as it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive our debts,

As we forgive our debtors

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from the evil one.”

Do we utter feeble prayers?

Do we pray faithless prayers?

Or do we pray like he who wrestled the lord for the desires of his heart, whom God finally honored?

I believe God sees our hearts desires, and how do we show that we truly desire that which we ask of Him?

By wrestling with him and not taking no for an answer,

Sad to say, I have not heard of another man who has physically wrestled the lord, so the only way I can think of, is by keeping ourselves pure, our lives being the wrestle with God to show the love we have for Him, our life being part of the prayer everyday.

Salvation...

Thoughts on salvation…

Do we truly understand God’s love for us?

We all know that He sent His only beloved son to earth to live as a human among the people He had created, as written in John 3:16. But have you ever looked at it from this view?

Have you ever considered the fact that God is called the trinity, pointing towards the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but in actual fact He is but one God?

(anybody care to correct me in this point if I am wrong?)

So if you think bout it, God gave 1/3 of himself in Jesus, another 1/3 after Jesus went back to heaven through the Holy spirit, and Jesus said that He would be seated on the right hand of the Father interceding on out behalf, another 1/3.

So in other words, God has given all of himself to us, His creation! And yet we ask, “should we give all of ourselves to Him?”

I have found my answer…

What’s your?
